impROV announce receipt and completion of an order from Sonsub International Ltd for ROV Installed Accelorometers, These were installed just below the waterline on legs on the Temsah Platform jacket offshore Egypt. The accelerometers were enabled Sonsub's Client to measure movement and acceleration of the jacket legs following the topsides fire, providing vital information to assist the salvage effort. The design and manufacture of the units themselves was a joint effort between impROV and our neighbours CD Ltd, their MiniSense technology being the key to successful measurement of structural movement. impROV thank Sonsub for once more selecting us to help with their interesting subsea problem solving activities.
