impROV Awarded Mediterranean Intervention Tooling Order impROV have received an order from a major Subsea Production System Manufacturer for the design and manufacture of two Component Change-Out Tools (CCOT’s) for deepwater applications. The tools will go to work on a deepwater gas field in the Mediterranean Sea. These tools are the fourth and fifth respectively in the family of CCOT’s developed in the two years since impROV were founded and will provide our Client with the capability to install and recover Subsea Control Modules, Choke Inserts and Electrical Distribution Units remotely. Added to the many CCOT’s our team have designed and produced in previous careers this order further underlines impROV’s credentials as an unparalleled centre of excellence in the design and manufacture of this type of equipment. It further strengthens our position as a leading supplier of remote intervention equipment throughout the Mediterranean, providing a key technology element to our Clients, primarily first and second tier industry contractors.
