Thales Geosolutions Inc Award impROV US Gulf Order

30^th September 2002 - impROV have received an order from Thales Geosolutions Inc of New Iberia, Louisiana for two Class 1-4 Torque Tool Systems. Each system consists of a torque tool with surface calibration and readout equipment. Both will go to work onboard Thales’ Northern River ROV Support Vessel

impROV Managing Director Alan Duncan said: “This order is very significant in that it is from a target Customer, it is going to work on a new, deepwater capable, vessel in the US Gulf and it incorporates some very innovative design features which will increase operational efficiency.

Thales ordered the first tool at the end of August and have since confirmed their requirement for a second unit. The first tool will ship in early October with the second unit following at the end of the month. impROV are delighted that Thales have chosen impROV equipment to complement their operations on the Northern River and we look forward to rewarding their confidence with a quality job, delivered on time.”
