impROV Implement Quality Management System

15th January 2003 – impROV are pleased to announce the release of a Quality Manual and implementation of a Quality Management System to govern all activities undertaken within the organisation.

The Company has been running its operation since inception in a manner consistent with recognised quality standards but this milestone formalises the effort into a methodical, auditable format.

impROV Director with Quality System responsibility, Tim Gay said

“This is a milestone in impROV’s development. As a Management Team who have all worked within ISO 9001:2000 accredited businesses in the past, we recognised the need to develop a Quality Manual and Management System which would assist us in running our business in a manner compliant to that exacting standard. We have now achieved that through careful, well considered construction of the manual, a significant financial investment in a proven and user friendly software package and a lot of effort invested in creating and documenting the supporting processes and procedures.

The Quality Manual and Management System dovetail well with our published Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.

We are now in the process of bedding the system in and completing our internal training requirements for all staff and the next step will be to initiate the process of gaining formal accreditation.

impROV now have the ability to demonstrate to our Customers that our commitment to QHSE is as they would expect, further enhancing their confidence in us as a provider of world class subsea engineering products and services.”
