Strategic Alliance Agreements

impROV are committed to a strategy facilitating the provision of cost-effective subsea solutions. We recognise that a subsea solution may need to be more than the core business intervention equipment and engineering portfolio offered directly by impROV, and that regional Customer support is critical to ensure well-planned and executed workscopes.
With this in mind impROV have taken a very pro-active approach to the forming of Strategic Alliance Agreements with partner companies who complement our own skillsets and experience. The criteria for selection of such partners are many and obviously they vary depending on the business objective in each case. However the common threads in every case are that impROV seek to partner with companies:

·         focused on professionally managed and delivered, technically excellent and  cost effective technical solutions

·         committed to after-sale service

·         committed to QHSE

·         who pro-actively foster a non-bureaucratic, friendly, “can do” attitude among their own personnel reflecting the culture that we promote within impROV

Currently impROV have two such Alliance Agreements as follows:

 Deep Down Inc

     impROV and Deep Down Inc (DDI) of Houston, Texas are bound by a Strategic Alliance Agreement which allows us to offer Customers in the Subsea Production Systems sector a broader equipment and service product offering than either company could do in isolation.
Combined impROV and DDI can offer a turnkey package of the “link pieces” of the Subsea Production System to the Hardware Manufacturers, Installation Contractors and Operators. Typically impROV or DDI will assume Marketing, Project Management and After-Market Support responsibility depending on either:

v      which of the two partners has the larger content responsibility

and/or

v      the geographic location of the Project and / or Customer Project Office

Tritech
impROV and Tritech International Ltd (Tritech) of Aberdeen, Scotland are bound by a Strategic Alliance Agreement which links us together specifically with respect to the provision of  “Intelligent” Torque Tools for the U.S. market. This brings together Tritech’s Intelligent Valve Pack Control System and impROV’s leading edge mechanical torque tool designs in a combination that offers Customers the ultimate in ROV task efficiency.
